Spend the extra money to stay somewhere else

The location of the apartment was good. The beds were reasonably comfy and the balcony was nice

The description of the properties outlines a fully stocked kitchen. This was not true. There was one very small pan and a filthy pot. Despite booking for 4 guests there were only 3 fours, 2 glasses, no bowels, etc. Everything was dirty and we had to buy our own sponges and fairy liquid to clean the things that were there. It was not a functioning kitchen. This meant we had to eat out every night which offset any savings we made booking this apartment. Spend the extra money getting somewhere slightly nicer where you can actually cook a bowl of pasta. On top of that the communication from the staff was very poor. Over 24 hours to respond and no communication about turning on gas for oven and hob etc. We were also given a bunch of keys and not told which one opened the door which made getting into the apartment difficult on the first night. The WiFi didn’t work and the hot water stopped half way through our stay. We were only given one key between 4 of us which was awkward.

When I got there, there was a 30 minute queue. When I got to the desk, I was told to come back 2 hours later and still had to queue for another 20 minutes. Check in time was very late, check out time was very early. There was no hot water.

Avoid if you can

Decent location only 10 minutes walk into old town

Firstly, the check in time is 4pm and they expect you to pick up the keys from their office. DreamAlgarve (the property managers) are extremely disappointing. Our WiFi didn’t work (we are digital nomads and needed it to work) - we contacted them, they said someone would come to fix it and we had to wait 2 days and drained our hotspot. The cupboards in the kitchen were broken which proved hazardous and my friend got injured from trying to open them. They give the most basic kitchen equipment. Really inadequate. No washing liquid. Limited toilet roll. The flat temperature was extremely and unbearably warm! Avoid these people!!!
