Fantastic employees of the hotel apart from the local Manager. The employees and local cordinator (Mr Confort)al are the best assets of the hotel. They are happy, friendly, polite, effective, efficient, work hard to make the customers feeling at home, etc. The hotel is small but well maintained, secure and very clean (i.e. congratulation to the maintenance, security, garden, cleaning and restaurant teams). The hotel is the right size for those that want to have a real local experience but at the same time feel comfortable.
It is sad to see when the senior management of hotels contract a local manager that acts like watch dog and not a competent manager. The local manager treats the hotel team very badly and has not been educated in life to understand how to treat people and manage any business. He really needs a lot of training to learn his profession and proper social interaction. It is not his fault to be in the managemet position. It is the fault of the senior management of the company that chooses a watch dog badly trained and socially unskilled to manage a local hotel facility. The business of the hotel does not collapse due to the excellent management skills of the local coordinator, Mr Comfort. He is the one that effectively manage the local team and at the same time tries to minimize to disastrous attitude of the local manager. I will give two examples of the wrong attitudes of the local manager: 1 - he stayed passing by the glass doors of the units at the ground floor and stayed inspecting what people were doing inside. The major problem is the fact that sometimes my wife was leaving the toilet and shower and when she looked straight, the manager was at the door looking inside the room. My wife became uncomfortable to do things inside the room in particular when she was dressing up; 2 - the air- conditioning of the rooms do not definitly turn off when the customer uses the remote control to turn off the air conditioning. As there were picks of electricity at the hotel, when there was a electricity pick, the air conditioning used to turn on again and start cooling down the room. We addressed to management the problem of all air conditioning of the hotel and the management knew the problem and instead to instruct the customers decided that everytime a customer leaves the room, the manager instructed the security team to go to the main switch st the back of tge room, outside the room and turns the electricity off.

Lovely restaurant, housekeeping and grounds staff -they all were very friendly and kind Beautiful view of the sea.
The shower in the room was terrible. Part of the overall bathroom with just a flimsy pathetic curtain whixh mage the entire washroom floor wet each time. No wine or beer sold in the restaurant. Management conducts business IN the resort (not the office) : phone calls, staff disciplinary hearings, and listens to social media without headphones, which is overheard by guests all day. This was disturbing to the peace I was looking for especially as the noise was perpetual and uncomfortable for us to listen to them shouting at the staff. No option for payment of taxes and the food bill by card machine. This was not communicated to me prior to arrival I had to go and withdraw a substantial amount of cash with high ATM costs and inconvenience when I checked out to settle the account, so be warned!
