It was hands down one of the best places we stayed at. It was clean, spacious, and a great location but the highlight of this place were the staff who made everything a million times better. They were the most amazing, kind and friendly! We were a bit bothered by the railway noise and we mentioned it in passing to Mr Nuwan, who throughout the trip proved to be an excellent problem solver, just offered to change/upgrade our room! He gave us great advice on visiting galle, the nearby GB house. We also appreciated the chef whose smile never left his face and who fed us delicious and varied breakfast everyday.
Everyday the room was cleaned( we had to just leave the key behind with the staff). The pool was refreshing and towels were provided everyday. The gardens are so well maintained with peacocks just strutting about. Just paradisiaque !
Not once, anyone pushed a trip or tried to sell something to us for which we were very grateful. All we wanted was a calm and relaxing stay and we got much more than that!
We thank Mr Nuwan, the chef and the Gardener for their kindness and generosity . We wish them all the success! We plan to come back and hopefully rent the whole villa for our next family gathering!
Nothing really. The place is perfect...
If we could advise, it would be to provide more bottles of water in rooms or have a water fountain for guests to fill water.
There were some insects but that's normal being so close to nature, and not to worry because Mr Nuwan and team do a fantastic job cleaning!
The villas are just beautiful and worthy of 5 stars! We recommend them 💯!

A fabulous villa with amazing staff. The room was large and beautifully decorated, the breakfast was good with fruit, toast and eggs of your choice. The hotel gardens and pool area were beautiful and maintained by a lovely, friendly gardener.
Nuwan was so helpful when I arrived from Colombo with a tummy bug, he arranged a tuk-tuk and a visit to a private hospital. All of the staff were welcoming and friendly Would recommend Ceylo Villas 100%

The place was tastefully decorated. Ideal for some peace and quiet. Food was good and the staff were helpful.
There was no literature re the facilities in the room and with the room phones not working you had to walk to the reception to get information/ order room service.
