Unsliven Bridge Farm - luxury holiday cottage in Yorkshire
Nestling at the edge of the Pennines and the Peak District is Unsliven Bridge Farm. Originally a large Farm House and barn built in the 1600’s.
This property has now been converted into a luxury holiday cottage, retaining its original stone exterior, wooden beams and window seats. With many spacious rooms and plenty of outdoor spaces with enclosed garden and separate meadow, which has little don river meandering through its grounds. It is an ideal cottage for celebrating special occasions.
With South facing gardens you can enjoy the sun all day long, day dream whilst gazing over the flower beds and watching the wildlife visiting the feeders. You will soon have the ducks joining you for dinner, whilst the garden birds sing you a merry tune.
Whether laying on the grass, sitting on the garden furniture or picnic tables in the meadow, cooking on the BBQ or relaxing in the hot tub the garden/meadow has lots to offer for a large family or friends. If the older children require more space for their fun and games, they can venture down into the meadow where both sides of the river can be explored.

What a wonderful week twelve friends from a walking group spent at Unsliven Bridge Farm!
The property is superb in every way - spacious, extremely well equipped, very comfortable beds, top quality bedding, cleaned to a very high standard.
The owners are friendly, delightful and responsive to any queries.
I cannot recommend this property highly enough.

We absolutely loved spending time here. The property is simply stunning, with everything you could possibly need provided. We were very lucky with gorgeous weather which enabled us to fully enjoy the grounds too. There's not many places that can offer such a wonderful, peaceful escape from reality while still being within touching distance of good supermarkets and other local amenities.
All contact with Yorkshire properties was exactly as you'd hope; friendly, helpful and accommodating. We would highly recommend Yorkshire properties to all of our friends, and would be keen to return in the future.

We usually struggle to find places that can accommodate 10+ adults in en suite rooms, so Unsliven Bridge Farm was a great find! No bunk beds, each room has its own bathroom, beds that can be double or twin - perfect for us!
The place was spotlessly clean throughout. The bedrooms were a good size and had comfy beds, and the bathrooms were also a good size and the showers nice and powerful. The kitchen was very well equipped. It would have been helpful if there had been the occasional armchair downstairs with a higher seat and firm arm rests, because the settees were all very low and squidgy and quite difficult to get out of.
The house is in a nice, quiet setting and the outside space was great - plenty of parking, a field with picnic tables, a hot tub, and a barbecue area with outdoor tables and chairs.
I think it is very likely that we'll be back!
