The kitchen is equipped with an oven, a stovetop, and a refrigerator, as well as a coffee maker, an electric kettle, and a microwave. And because there's a washer and dryer, you can go a bit lighter on your packing.

What a fabulous home on the Cote d’Azur! We were greeted by the caretaker, Olivier, who gave us a complete tour and check-in. It was mostly in French so it was great practice for us and he was kind and helpful. When we discovered the next day we didn’t have any hot water, he came over (on a Sunday) and got it working right away. We communicated using “Whats App” with a translator to help. The house was very clean and comfortable with two large couches inside and great deck furniture. The kitchen was well appointed with what looked to be new appliances. All rooms opened to the enormous deck with sweeping views of the harbor, Marseille, and the ocean. Cozy coves for swimming were right below the house and easily accessed via a private staircase down to the locked gate. We very much appreciated the washer and dryer, along with the drying rack. The private driveway behind a remote-controlled gate was large enough for two cars and looking at the street parking, this was a real bonus! The darling harbor town of Carey-le-Rouet was a 10 min walk down the hill offering plenty of restaurants, shopping, and a casino that we did not visit. There was even a small super market just steps away that had everything we needed. During our week here we explored Cassis, Marseille, the Luberon valley, Aix-en-Provence and much more. Great location!Thank you for the thoughtful and delicious 30th anniversary gift - So special! We loved our stay in this home very much and hope to return!

This property is wonderful. Carry-le-Rouet is a quiet marina/fishing village about 40 km west of Marseille and a 20 minute drive from Marseille-Provence airport. The villa is separate in its own property and overlooks the harbor. There is a private path down the hillside from the house to the beach with a locked gate. The beach is quiet and rarely crowded - wonderful for swimming and learning to snorkel. There is a good private parking space and the very large patio/veranda looks directly over the harbor. The Villa is beautifully decorated inside with a very well-equipped kitchen and modern appliances where everything looks brand new. The house is very spacious. The main living room also has a beautiful view from a large window overlooking the harbor. Everything is very clean and well-maintained especially the bathrooms The air-conditioning works very well which was important because it was very hot the first week we were there. The host, Olivier was there exactly as planned to meet us and gave a good overview of the house and amenities. Whenever we had questions he responded immediately to our texts. Everything was well deserved in our 5-star ratings.
