About this house rental

Nestled in Sag Harbor, this attractive house for $1,425 per night is a great choice for your next break. Stroll into Sag Harbor Village and/or the Park, after a game of tennis on your own private Har-Tru Tennis Court. As the owner is a former pro tennis player, he keeps the court in pristine condition and the court has a generous extended side and backcourt running room for the most advanced play. The gently sloped estate has a winding circular driveway that leads to a five- bedroom, three and one half-bath, post-modern and approx. 5000+/- sq.ft. home and 4 car parking area. Double entrance doors open into a five-columned, spectacular three- story cantilevered ceiling great living room with slate fireplace, flat screen mounted above fireplace entertainment center, restored antique mahogany baby-grand piano for sing-alongs, and two ecru overstuffed queen-size convertible couches and matching chaise lounge. Bricked terrace, newly lined heated pool, and newly laid Har-Tru tennis court, all accessed through living room or master suite with four French doors. Antique style wood dining room table from Europe which seats twelve, wood paneled grandfather clock and breakfront. Large country kitchen with all new stainless-steel appliances including a working range island. 7.4-foot farmer's kitchen table seating up to ten. Primary bedroom suite features marble bath with separate shower stall and Jacuzzi tub, Biedermeier style massive king four-poster bed, kiln-dried pine love seat and entertainment center hutch. 3 additional Guest bedrooms are located on a separate guest wing of the first floor set up as follows: King; two stacked Full; 2 Twins. Privately situated on the upper floor is an additional open area home office that can optionally serve as a 5th bedroom for guests or staff. This home gets high marks for its amenities, exclusive private property, exceptional central location, close to parks, shopping, easy walking distance to Sag village, harbor and bay beaches and readily accessible to East- Bridge-Southampton via approximately 10-15 minute backroads drive to all three towns even during the height of the Season. There is a Security Deposit required by the Owner, the amount of which is set according to the usage and time period contemplated. Additionally, there is a Utilities Deposit to cover the services and utilities provided with the rental. The amount is dictated by the number of days of the rental and the season and services for that season. Lastly there is a Tenant's Insurance policy required which names the Owner as an assured and has general liability coverage in the amount of $1 million per occurrence. Generally the cost of such insurance for the Hampton area and depending on the Tenant information given to the insurance broker is ordinarily less than $250.
