The owner was extremely kind and helpful and a very nice man. He has created a lovely garden.
We enjoyed watching a hornbill on a branch right next to the balcony and seeing the water buffalo on the field outside .
Itt was a pleasant short walk to a main street.
People were friendly and helpful in ,Dharwad (and everywhere we went in India).
It was a shame the lake has been made smaller but we were told the area is going to be a boating lake.
It's also a shame about the rubbish outside the homestay but I imagine this will be cleared up.

Good location for birders with a lake behind the property for birdwatching
Cleanliness and hygiene around the property. Poor Solid Waste Management. Toilet commode not clean. Need to put hooks behind the bathroom door to hang clothes. Kitchen cleanliness could be better.
