Clean and welcoming. Great for a short stay. Tastefully decorated. Parking space right outside the property. Good communication from owner.
No where to really hang-up clothes and the bed settee is only really suitable for 1 person.

A lovely, cosy, well presented house. The bedroom in particular was a fabulous room. The bed was so comfy! Loved the quirky kettle! Perfect for our one night away to attend a party in the next village.
The shower was great but its design left the bathroom floor very wet. Nothing a bathmat one side and hand towel the other couldn't sort though.

My stay was ok, my host had taken trouble with the setting of the property which they had styled. There were decorative touches, beyond what is necessary for a rental property. The parking was excellent and right outside the door.
The entrance gate was flimsy and could only be secured by a catch on the outside of the gate, very high up, when inside the gate. There were no instructions saying that the gate was broken and how to close it. The property while apparently clean, felt a little tired and not properly clean. The kettle was just bizarre and not really fit for purpose, it was more decorative than functional. I never found out how to work the hob. There were no proper instructions for the facilities. The TV did not work and the host made minimal efforts to sort it out. They offered new batteries for the remote, which they left outside in a plastic bag, the following day, with no follow up. Communicaton from the host was poor. To sum up; it wasn't terrible, but I wouldn't stay there again. I am an ex host of holiday lets, so I do know what I'm talking about.
