The accommodation's location is great: it's in the beautiful Chora, just a few steps from restaurants and bars, yet in a very quiet corner. Also, the little private courtyard outside is very cute. The place itself is tiny, but the bed is comfortable, and there's a decent-sized bathroom.
The place is beautiful and deserves a 10. However, a couple of issues prevent me from giving this score. When we arrived, we noticed that there was no stove in the kitchen. We contacted the host about this, and they explained and apologised. However, this should have been communicated to us before arriving. Not having a functional kitchen meant we could not prepare any meals at home, which increased our food budget. Also, we could not fully take advantage of the beautiful garden for breakfast and aperitivo. The hosts could have either bought a basic one from the island (given that we stayed for a week) or offered a price reduction. The second reason for a lower score is that, over 7 days, the sheets were never changed, and the towels were changed only once (on day 2). I understand that this is not a hotel (as the host pointed out), but the place got very dirty very quickly (and our friends who stayed in a nearby, similar facility at a similar price had it serviced every second day). Given the price, the hosts should pay more attention to these details.

We stayed at Dream House Little Villa for 9 days and absolutely loved it. The house is small, but beautifully designed, spotlessly clean and absolutely perfect for two people. It had everything we needed for a wonderful holiday. The shower is excellent, and the beautiful, shaded courtyard was one of our favourite places in the evening – perfect for playing cards, having a drink and relaxing after a day of exploring.
The location is fantastic. Within just 1–2 minutes on foot, you are in the charming little streets of Chora, surrounded by wonderful Greek tavernas, cafés and lovely little shops. We ate somewhere different every evening and were impressed every single time. Apart from one Italian restaurant, we ate exclusively in Greek tavernas – and the food was fantastic everywhere. There are also many small shops offering beautiful products, often made locally.
A parking area is less than 100 metres away, and there is a fantastic bakery practically next door. The house itself is tucked away in a quiet little lane, so despite being right in the heart of Chora, it is wonderfully peaceful.
Chora is also an ideal base for exploring Amorgos. We rented a car from Etoile de Mer directly at the port in Katapola, which made getting around the island very easy, although the bus is also a good option.
A special mention must go to our host, Rafika. Communication with her was excellent. She personally welcomed us and came to check us out, responded to messages within minutes and gave us wonderful recommendations for hikes, tavernas and excursions. She knows the island extremely well and is incredibly friendly and helpful.
We had visited Crete five times over the past few years and always loved it. But after discovering Amorgos, we honestly never want to go back to Crete! The fact that Amorgos has no airport makes such a difference – the island feels authentic, relaxed and wonderfully free from mass tourism. It is exactly the kind of Greece we were hoping to find.

Cosy small house comfortable for two persons with traditional touches here and there. The balcony is also nice and covered from sun and wind. The location is also great as it’s near the road and the parking place, so minimal walking is required. The bed and the pillows are also comfortable. Lastly the owner is very kind and helpful.
There were some notable omissions in the property, like hand soap, bath soaps, ashtray as well as some stand of sorts to put your stuff in the bathroom while taking a bath. The fridge is also too small and the kitchen furniture feels too cheap compared to the overall transitional aesthetic of the house.
