Could do with somewhere to hang clothes and could do with an iron and ironing board. Also the remote for the tv needed a new battery as it wasnt working. Also could do with a slip mat for the bath. The double bed mattress needs replacing as it was extremely uncomfortable. I could lie on it and slept on the sofa.

Perfect location to visit family in Conisbrough. Easy to collect keys from lock box. Great sized property for a family. TV and WiFi had no issues.

We stayed at Hills Close for two nights in late November while attending a family funeral nearby. The location is quiet and convenient, with easy parking and clear instructions about rubbish.
The house warmed up quickly once the heating was on. Arriving in winter - especially after a 6 hours drive - a light or heating left on would have been a lovely touch, but it didn’t take long to get ourselves sorted.
On the positive side, the shower was fantastic, one of the nicest I’ve had in a long time, and there were plenty of towels provided.
Finding the front door was a little tricky as it’s tucked behind a large tree. It could do with better lighting as the outside light did not work.
Inside, the property is functional but does feel a little tired in places and would benefit from some general TLC.
We had an issue with the downstairs toilet running, but once we reached the right contact, they were responsive and arranged for a plumber the next morning, which we appreciated.
The radiator in the top bedroom didn’t seem to work, but it was manageable for our short stay. The oven could also do with a deep clean, as it smoked when turned on.
With a few small improvements, it could be a really lovely place to stay.
