The living room, kitchen, and porch were great! Beautiful, peaceful surroundings.
The shower taps took some figuring out.

The house was clean, and the furnishings were perfect for our needs, with lots of seating in the common areas and enough beds and bathrooms for our party of seven. The location was good, with easy access to the water park and other recreational areas. The two video games were a hit with the children. We cooked family-style meals and used the grill all of the time. The water pressure was excellent, and people were impressed that we could all take showers without running out of water.
The outdoor grill was a feature highlighted in the description of the house. However, it was a real mess. There was no gas in the tank, so we had to search for it and buy some instead of grilling our supper, which was frustrating and completely interfered with our planned timeline. Previous guests had left the grates a mess, and there was pooled grease in the bottom, which caught fire. The ignitors didn't work, and we had to get creative to light it since we didn't have matches or a lighter with us. It was a nice grill and worked well for us after we bought gas, cleaned it, and figured out a way to light it. The other irritating thing was the dishwasher. In addition to looking gross inside, the dishes came out with food stuck on them every time and always felt less than sanitary. The chunks of food stuck on the dishes did not come from us since we always rinsed the dishes before putting them in the dishwasher. The filter certainly must be cleaned, but I would suggest replacing the dishwasher itself since the interior shelves, etc., were unsightly and off-putting. We hope the owners/managers read and pay attention to this feedback because we hope to stay there again next year and would hope to find these problems fixed rather than further deterioration.

Spacious and cozy
Stove wasn’t clean inside the oven and the gas grill doesn’t work so great took our food hours to cook even with all 4 burners on high

The home was charming and very appealing. Loved the rustic look of the exposed beams throughout the downstairs. Downstairs was comfortable.
Range oven wasn't cleaned.(filthy) Toaster oven tray was dirty. Kitchen utensils were in drawers that were used and not cleaned. Trash was left out on the screened porch. ( water bottles, small propane canisters).
There weren't any extra blankets for us to use. Kitchen lacks many items needed for food preparation..like collender for draining pasta. One baking pan had visible rust on the baking surface. Upstairs, there was a closet door that was off the track and propped and leaning inside the closet. The primary bedroom closet was locked so there was no place to hang items in our wardrobe. Also, there were tears in the screened porch that I noticed upon arrival.
