Absolutely sensational. Quite simply one of the best places we have ever stayed.
Stéphane and his partner were wonderful hosts: warm, welcoming, interesting and clearly passionate about creating an exceptional experience for their guests.
The property itself is stunning. The décor and attention to detail are off the scale, with incredible taste and a genuine wow factor throughout. Add in the swimming pool and hot tub, and it really does feel like somewhere very special.
We took a picnic amongst the vines and sat watching the sun go down, which was simply beautiful. There are also some excellent wineries nearby, making this a fabulous place from which to explore the area.
And then there was breakfast! Unbelievable. Many of the products were homemade, but saying “homemade” really doesn’t do them justice. Everything was exquisitely prepared and presented and was a real highlight of our stay.
We genuinely cannot find fault with anything. It was that good.
We will 100% return and will be recommending Cave Auger to everyone we know. An exceptional stay and one we won’t forget.

Prachtige kamers, fijn zwembad, goede wijnen en zeer vriendelijke gastheren! Het ontbijt was super en het is zeker een aanrader om ook ‘s avonds aan te schuiven!

Le camere sono ampie, arredate con gusto e molto pulite. La colazione e’ ottima e abbondante. La location è accogliente e dotata di una bellissima piscina e un idromassaggio. Il proprietario e’ una persona fantastica, accogliente e molto gentile e disponibile.
