We absolutely loved our five-night stay at Chalet Berna. The chalet was cosy and comfortable, with the most incredible mountain views with everuthing you need. After visiting several busy cities, it was wonderful to have a peaceful place where we could slow down, cook our own meals and genuinely feel at home.
We were lucky enough to meet the owner, Pauli, who built the chalet with his son. You can feel the care abd thought put into the build. He was incredibly warm and thoughtful, bringing chocolates for our daughters and local speck and Schüttelbrot for us, and sitting down to share a glass of wine. Those personal touches made our stay especially memorable.
The location was beautiful and convenient for exploring Ortisei, Seceda and the surrounding Dolomites, with the town square and public transport nearby. We will really miss the stillness, the mountain views and the sound of the cows.
As Pauli said before we left, “We always see each other twice in life.” We truly hope he is right. We would happily stay here again.

The apartment is full of thoughtful and beautiful details--as impressive a use of space as I can imagine. Lots of recycled wood adds great charm, and the deck has a spectacular view of the gondola to Mt. Seuc. The owner, Pauli, was helpful and justifiably proud of this apartment. It was an easy walk to the gondola for Mt. Seuc, the gondola to Seceda, and to the Centro--plus a dedicated, covered parking space.
The Muse Holiday organization was difficult to deal with--unhelpful directions to find the apartment, incorrect instructions on how to get the keys to enter the apartment, issues with billing for the tourist tax, and lack of knowledge about how to take care of the trash. The apartment is great, but Muse Holiday is not great.

The house was beautiful, comfortable and the location was perfect to walk into town. The host was friendly and very much wanted to make sure our stay was great. It was so well appointed with everything you could possibly need or want.

We had a fantastic stay! Everything was exactly as described, and the place was clean, comfortable, and well-maintained. The location was great, making it easy to get around, and the host was friendly, responsive, and welcoming. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience and would definitely stay here again. Highly recommend this place to anyone visiting!
