The old world charm. Well maintained for its age.
The noise factor being in a room on the ground floor that faced the main intersection.

It was clean, a good sized bedroom & bathroom. A little bit quirky as owner is doing up an old building but for me that added to the charm. It was also close to the people we were going to visit.
Parking was a bit difficult as there was permit parking on one side of the street & the other side was timed parking

Close to everything.
No hot water, which by meaning it was too cold at this time of year being winter, to take a cold shower, lucky it was only one night.
