A charming off the radar eco retreat a little north of Tulum. It’s a family run operation and both of them went out of their way to be accommodating, even helping us get to a health clinic and speak with the doctors when my college aged daughter got sick.
The grounds are beautiful, lush with plants, private-feeling and generally charming.
The main thing to be aware of is that there’s no air-conditioning. If you leave the windows open to get across breeze and use the standing fans, they have it was comfortable for me, but just know what to expect.
In a way it kind of added to the natural feel of the place.

I loved my stay here. Casa Mango is surrounded by nature, which makes it feel peaceful and magical. The owner is incredibly kind and welcoming, always making sure I felt comfortable.
I had the best time and highly recommended for anyone who wants to disconnect, recharge, and experience the beauty of nature with wonderful hospitality. 🌴💛

Location felt isolated (which was nice) even though it was close to main roads and food/artisanal shops nearby. Staff were very friendly. Rooms were spacious, quiet and surrounded by lots of greenery.
We had booked for two nights, but they notified us the morning after the first night that our room was double booked and they needed to move us to a different room. Mosquito nets had holes in both rooms (we got bitten a lot), and water pressure was very low in the showers. The room fans weren't powerful enough for the middle of June, so maybe not the best time to visit.
