The apartment is spacious and in a convenient location, with free parking available on the street. The bed was comfortable, and the towels and bed linen were very clean and pleasantly scented.
Unfortunately, there were several issues that made our stay disappointing. The apartment is located in a basement underneath the owner’s home. As soon as we entered through the gate leading to the apartment, we found a large amount of dog faeces. The owner’s dog also barked quite often, which disturbed our sleep.
The apartment itself was not as clean as we expected. There was visible dust on the furniture, hair in the bathroom, and several dead mosquitoes. As it is a basement apartment, the windows are small and there is very little airflow, so the room becomes quite hot and stuffy. Fortunately, a fan was provided.
The breakfast was entirely made up of packaged products, with no fresh food.
What disappointed us most, however, was the lack of hospitality and communication from the host. When we left the following morning, the host saw us leaving, went inside and simply closed the front door without even saying goodbye. We also received no message afterwards, not even a simple confirmation that the copy of our documents sent via WhatsApp had been received.
Overall, the accommodation is probably fine for one night if you are simply looking for a place to sleep, but we would not recommend it for a longer stay.
