There is also desk/workspace and a lounge area upstairs with a small couch and rocking chair perfect for cozying up to a book or an evening of games. Bring your best cook and enjoy the well lit and sunny chef's kitchen with large gas range, full fridge/freezer, dishwasher, and the tools to whip up all of your snacks and meals. The home is walking distance to the Mad River with nearby walking trails, a great place to swim and soak up the sun in summer or steelhead fish in winter. For mountain biking enthusiasts, the Blue Lake Mountain Biking Trails are not to be missed! Expect steep, raw, hand built single tracks twisting through Redwoods above the Mad River. A walk around town is a fun activity in itself, with beautiful views of the surrounding redwood forested mountains, pastures and landscapes of the river valley.
