It is a city hotel so expect some noise from outside.

I loved the old building it was classic architecture from a long way back with high ceilings and wide hallways,the timber floors can be a bit loud (shoes off), the staff were very helpful and even hooked us up with cheaper parking. They offered tea and coffee with a cake in the morning sitting in the quaint courtyard.
Location in town was central with everything you need with nice restaurants close by. The room was large enough with a small verandah off the common area.
A bit hard to find as they don't use the front door and Google maps took you down another lane. I copied the address off booking .com and it sent me to a totally different building down the road. (both issues weren't their fault) A kind lady walked us back.
There is a walkway down to the water, but you wouldn't swim there.
