Our family of 4 adults stayed here for 4 nights. The condominium is located on the 32nd floor of the Waikiki Banyan and has great views. It's within easy walking distance of the beach and restaurants. The condo was roomy enough for us to spread out, although I would recommend replacing the seating which is starting to sag. The bathroom is somewhat unusual in that it has 2 doors, one to the living area and the other to the bedroom.
- We were able to check into the property early. It was very convenient to have a code to open the door so that everyone didn't need a key.
- Beds were comfortable. I would recommend a sleep mask and ear plugs to avoid getting woken by anyone who uses the bathroom at night.
- We rented a car and were happy that parking is free.
- We were able to save money by eating dinner in a few nights and really liked having a dining room table, plates, glasses, and cutlery.
- We appreciated having the adult and child-sized (which can fit a petite woman) life vests. We used them when we went snorkeling. There were plenty of towels for our beach excursion.
- Red Awning was very responsive when I reported a problem with the sticking exterior sliding glass door. They fixed it the next day while we were out.
- WiFi worked great.
- It was a little challenging finding enough accessible outlets to charge all our devices, we recommend providing a power strip.
- The bathroom is not completely enclosed. For some reason, there is an opening above the bathroom door that leads to the bedroom.
- There is only one room air conditioner that is installed in the living room next to the exterior sliding glass door. We didn't need it in January but I'm not sure how well it would work in the summer.
