This is a flat I've stayed in before. It comprises a spacious, sunny bed-sittingroom with a double bed, as well as a small kitchenette and a bathroom with a bath/shower. There are large floor-to-ceiling windows and a balcony, which is nice for a beer on a sunny day. It's good value compared to hotels in Lausanne, which can be functional and wildly expensive. Put it this way - I came again and looked forward to staying here.
There is a dishwasher and cooker etc. but remember to take a few dishwasher tablets and some oil because these are not provided. The management is remote so you find the keys to the flat inside the flat, you leave them behind afterwards and I never saw anyone. That's OK for the modern on-line generation, but I am someone that likes to interact with a person.

Nice studio apartment with open plan, lots of windows. Low-traffic neighborhood on a block of large apartment buildings. Bathroom fine, good small kitchen with cookware but no extras like oil or coffee. Second floor with large balcony. Spacious, comfortable room with table and chairs, though it got warm overnight with shutters closed; there is no fan. Overall, a fine place for a few days in Lausanne.
Minimal contact with host, possibly distant, though we didn't encounter any problems.

Super clean and large apartment. Great location since we planned to travel by train to other destinations. Short walk to the train station (about 10 minutes). Everything works well, fast response from the management of the apartment to all our questions. Balcony with a view of the lake.
Coming from North America, we are used to air conditioning. That is not common in Switzerland and the weather was unusually hot. However the apartment has good shutters and I suppose the hot weather does not last for long. In any case, air conditioning was not expected, since it was not advertised.
