Horrible, disappointing! BE CAREFUL which apartment you choose!!!!
An apartment located below street level, in Basement lacking natural light because the small windows have to be covered due to the unpleasant view of a drainage canal filled with mud, dirt and yellow-green algae.
The description does not mention that the unit is in BASEMENT - a crucial detail that was obviously left out on purpose. Pay close attention to the photos, as they are completely inaccurate. I am posting a few photos that show the true location of the property: right next to a canal with muddy banks and algae. This is the view from the only two small windows - nothing like the "courtyard view" claimed in the ad! The owners were also incredibly rude, laughed at me and told me that I should be more careful when planning my vacation. It was a really unpleasant and disappointing attitude - in fact, this is the first time I have experienced something like this, considering that the description does not mention anywhere that the unit is below street level (a semi-basement).
During the 5 days, there was no proper cleaning and no change of towels. From the apartment located above, you can hear every step, especially when there are small children running around in the morning, in the description saying that "the apartment is soundproof".
The house is located on a bend, right on the street, where there is an infernal noise - even at night - from the motorbikes constantly revving their engines.
The photos do not reflect reality at all, and the description is vague or deliberately omits key details - I can't imagine who would rent such an apartment for a seaside holiday.
Honestly, the ground floor apartment with the terrace shown in the photos is no better either; it has the same view, as the house borders this canal - where the owner told me clean water flows from the mountains.
