Disappointing stay lots to improve on.
First impressions clean and tidy.
Property is newly renovated but many parts unfinished, rural setting shared accommodation, Host lives in the adjacent cottage and can be intrusive, the paving slabs where uneven and unstable pathway the swimming pool which we where not allowed to open fully. The barn had some games set up pool table/basketball hoops and other things but was located in old unstable barn uneven surface not suitable for young children definitely not unsupervised.
There is a neglected donkey which was quite concerning and a large dog that was shut in a van barking all day until the host came back later in the day. And also be aware the host can not speak English and finds it difficult to communicate with the translator app. We have been coming to France for the last 30 years and every time has been a delight but this time was occupied by the dissatisfaction with manner of the host and the property, and to add to this stay we were awoken by a loud bang in the middle of the night that we were unsure what it was until we discovered a tempered glass basin in the shower room shattered in the night when everyone was asleep and to put a cherry on the cake the host thought we smashed it. we have literally booked another holiday to get over this one.
