Clean and tidy, excellent hosts. Easy check in and check out. All the facilities needed.
Market on the street outside on Sunday morning, woke up super early by the stalls being set up. Takes nothing off the room it’s self; the room was lovely just wish I had have known this in advance as I would have requested a room on the back of the house.

The breakfast was not included with this property. We paid 5lbs per day for the two of us to ( not each) to was a few minutes to the other property to make breakfast in the open kitchen and generous dinning area. The food was simple but adequate. We met some interesting travelers at breakfast.
The apartment was very attractive, nicer in person than pictures. I really liked the bathroom facilities. The location was very central and we walked to the Castle/museum as well as to several excursion meet ups, and of course the over abundance of restaurants. We really liked the small private outside terrace for eating ( or drying a few clothes). Uber eats delivered in less than 10 minutes to that location. Excellent value for the price!
It was a little small, and my husband found the bed too hard ( not me!) Also we were in an unusual heat wave and there was no AC. Our room was ground floor and not so hot. But when we kept the door open for some breeze- the loud roosting pigeons kept us up all night. Very quiet when the door was closed.

Location was superb for walking access to central Cardiff and rail access from Cardiff Central Station. Noise insulation was very good.
The bed was uncomfortably sloped towards the outer edges. We were aware that there was no air conditioning, but were unaware that there was no fan, which made the room very stuffy. Would have also appreciated some small shelf in the shower for personal soaps and shampoos.
