Absolutely lovely venue, it was calm & quiet which is just want I wanted.
Nice and comfy and out of the way. Utilities was above my expectations, Blackstone flattop, Pizza Oven, fire pit, coffee machine, milk frother the list goes on. Went above and beyond.
A comfortable place.
The only thing I can say that was bad was no cover on the bathroom window, so those attending the event on Sunday evening could easily see you showering….

This was a hard one to review as there were all those things to like, but we both felt the advertising that pulls a certain person in ( ie built on relaxation etc), didn’t fully match up.
The booking.com policy attached to this property says no hen or stag dos and no parties. But there was a party In the barn behind and once we were inside our property it was a continual banging noise. I did text to say I wasn’t happy & it was quickly turned down a bit.
There were no instructions for the key In the door & it was a struggle to get it locked, owner came & rectified at 10.30 pm, but along with instructions on the hot tub earlier, it appeared that we ‘ should have just known’ And that we shouldn’t mind the loud music as it’s on their website. But we booked through booking, so we’re not aware!
No blind or curtain on bathroom window, that should be easy to rectify!
After paying an email comes to say an extra £25 on top off quite an expensive 19hours cost, for the hot tub! Be aware. That is a bit hidden on the booking site. Maybe booking could make that clearer.
This place either needs to be let out for those seeking relaxation when party’s are not on. Or just use it for party guests.
