Peaceful location close to lovely coastal walks and regular local bus. The bedrooms were spacious and the first floor living area was very roomy with pleasant views over Morston Hall gardens. The owners had left us a collection of goodies in the kitchen which were hugely appreciated!

Whilst it’s always harder to sleep in a strange bed nevertheless, the twin beds were very noisy to sleep on! Every time one moved or turned over the base creaked dreadfully which did genuinely disturb the sleep of both of us. Some of the lightbulbs were either missing or had fused. Sadly, we couldn’t find any replacements.

Great space and lovely balcony - very comfortable.

Floors all not swept or hoovered so revolting things like toe nails and various types of hair on the floors.

Fantastic location, really nice barn with good sized rooms. Easy to find with very helpful instructions. Nice big tv, and the little balcony was lovely in the hot weather

Shower is weak but adequate

Beautiful house well equipped kitchen and set in a wonderful location . If I were only staying for a weekend I think I’d give a higher score , however as the week went on the frustrating issues just became even more annoying.

Only one very underpowered shower for 5/6people .My fault I didn’t read the detail , but I thought 2 bathrooms would mean 2 showers.The shower itself is tired and the grout to wall and floor tiles needs cleaning and resealing.The shower is rubbish , a nightmare for those wanting to shampoo their hair , as rinsing off takes ages …and Its been mentioned in so many of your reviews ( which I should have read prior to booking) ! The single beds are torture.My poor nieces up from the big city and hoping for quiet country costal lie ins over the weekend were very disappointed .The manager or owner needs to sleep in them for a night (or two).They either need tightening up or throwing on a bonfire ,they are extremely creaky and noisy , even at the merest touch.Im very sad that I didn’t manage to provide them with a good weekend away ( despite the house costing me £1750 for the week !) No mirrors !Why? how do we check eg a wedding outfit or blow dry our hair ? Ridiculous..no mirrors in bedrooms hall or lounge ..I had to use my IPad camera! The main bedroom (that I used ) needs blackout blinds ,instead of the flimsy white blinds .It was broad daylight in the room at 04am .Very unfair.(see pic). The lounge rug and sofas need an anti slip system …. Treacherous to try and pick my 9mth old granddaughter off the floor whilst using the sofa for support …. as the rug slides one way and the sofa the other !It is a nightmare. My fault again that I didn’t read there was no outside space ,but I did read the property ‘boasted’ a balcony. In my mind I had us sitting outside on the balcony for our meals ,however it is a Juliet balcony - just 2 open doors and a railing….and I do think the description should be altered. The light switch to the bathroom is temperamental (the bulbs etc are fine - it’s the rocker switch).It stopped working altogether which I reported - but didn’t get a reply.There is no window in this room making it hard to bath the baby, working in your own shadow.
