Review: DO NOT BOOK. This is a health hazard and a total scam.
Hygiene Violation: The kitchen sink is literally inside the bathroom next to the toilet. This is a direct violation of the French Public Health Code (Art. R1331-60). Preparing food in a bathroom is disgusting and made me physically ill. We left after one night but they didn't cancel the staying neither did a refund.
Location Fraud: The property was advertised at CAP3000 but is actually in a remote impasse in Cagnes-sur-Mer. This is a "Bait and Switch". Difficult to reach without car and you have to walk 50 - 100m in the absolute dark. We asked for cancellation before going and they only proposed 50%, which we didn't accept.
The Response: When I pointed out the health violation, the owner's response was "you saw the photos." I thought the photo showed a bathroom sink, I didn't realize it was the ONLY sink for the kitchen. Booking.com supports this place, because they continue to receive a "Preferred Partner" HIGH COMMISSION.
No decoration as shown in the photos, but this is the least of all.
Avoid any cost this property! We have already done declaration for unhealthy property in the authourities, we will take also legal action if we don't receive out money back, because the non-refundable reason doesn't exist when there are unhealthy issues.
