The property was very nice indeed. Very spacious, well maintained and clean. The living area was huge and I really enjoyed sitting on the balcony in the evening enjoying a good book and some local beers. It’s also nice to have two bathrooms for a party our party of three.
The washer and drier came in very handy to just catch up on a bit of laundry during our touring holiday across many cities.
The area is great, absolutely loads of restaurants and bars in the area and we had a couple of lovely meals at restaurants within a few hundred metres of the apartment. Old town is just 10-15m by uber.
Just a couple of things:
- the booking.com listing on the first page says “Parking On Site” that is not true. When you click through to the detail of the listing it says “Paid public parking on site” and that is not true either. The apartment has no parking. Directly outside the appartments it’s true that there are meters. But as per my positives about the apartment, the area is rammed with restaurants so actually finding a meter space close to the appartments is pot luck and we did not manage it during our three day stay. There is a public car park just a few hundred meters away and we parked there so it was not the end of the world for us. But I really do think a more accurate description of the parking situation should be given on the listing. I note several other reviewers have mentioned this. If you put an accurate description then people know what they are booking.
- air conditioning units are only in main bedroom and main living area. You can cool the whole property by leaving all bedroom doors open which was ok for us as we were just a couple and a daughter. But had we bought our children’s with partners who wanted privacy it would have been a bit warm in those other rooms.
- the contact phone number on booking.com was incorrect at time of our stay. I have notified owner by message and hopefully he can get that corrected ahead of next guests arriving.

Everything about this property was excellent. From its location—close to many of Montreal’s popular neighborhoods—to the cleanliness and the host’s responsiveness, everything was handled perfectly. We had a wonderful time during our stay. The property had two air conditioners, and even in August (the hottest time in Montreal) the indoor temperature stayed pleasant. There was plenty of free street parking in the neighborhood, as well as an ample supply of towels and cleaning materials to keep the place tidy. Our group of 6 also had no issues with the adequacy of dishes (something a few previous reviews had mentioned). The property included a dishwasher, which we used twice during our six-day stay. Overall, this was one of the best owner-managed properties I’ve ever stayed at. Strongly recommended if you are traveling with a large group.

Belle déco et bien situé
Impossible de régler le chauffage avec une des doubles fenêtres manquantes (oui vraiment avec -20 degrés dehors)
Le matin 16 dans le salon. Assez inadmissible. Les équipements de cuisine très léger … 2 verres à vin pour 5 (notre groupe).
15 minute dehors pour se faire communiquer les codes d’entrée ! (Un mauvais début sous -15 degrés)
