We stayed at La Baga Beach Hotel for 1 week on 16.01.2026
Check in was a breeze & we were quickly shown to our room, the room was a good size, clean & tidy, it had a small balcony but didn’t have any chairs, so we utilised the one chair from the room on the balcony.
The bed was large & comfy, the bathroom was a good size,it had a powerful shower with plenty hot water.
The WIFI throughout the hotel was great.
All the staff we met during our stay were very helpful & friendly.
It’s an older hotel, but the standard of cleanliness is second to none, the staff were cleaning all the time, everywhere we went there was someone cleaning something!
Breakfast at the hotel was great, the milky coffee was wonderful & eggs were cooked to perfection, the restaurant is quite large and we never had any issues getting a table.
The Restaurant Manager ‘Jose’ was fantastic, nothing was too much trouble for him, he spoke wonderful English & we had some great chats during our stay.
The rooftop pool was large, clean and had plenty of seating, the views from up there were great, you could see for miles, we saw lots of parrots nesting in the trees across the road, it was fantastic!
The hotel location is good, out of the hotel and the road leads straight down to the beach, there is scooter and car rental available onsite, scooter hire was quick & easy.
We had a wonderful stay and will definitely be returning

The staff were kind and accommodating, they were able to help me arrange taxis to and from the hotel and helped me when my AC remote was broken. The breakfast was nice
Sadly the room was quite dirty, there were hairs in the bathroom and on the bed and there was blood on one of the light switches. The property is maybe a little dated making it hard to keep clean for example the headboard was broken, there was dirt on the walls and in the shower wall (mud?) and the bedding/towels smelt unclean
