The view of Funchal was incredible, and the studio room was really nice and laid out.
And the communication through booking.com to for sort out our parking and check in was really good and helpful
The pool wasn't in use during our stay which was quite annoying as it was a big reason to why I booked this accomodation, the information said it could be used until 2100h, we went at 1700h on Monday evening and the pool had very little water in it, I asked the staff if we could use it and they said no.
And I recieved five different whatsapp messages from different numbers asking for my card details to 'confirm the booking' I later confirmed through the messages on booking.com that these were a scam.

Beautiful view from the terrace. Apartment has everything you need for a comfortable stay.
To walk up and down to Funchal centre is very heavy. Bus rides very frequently, but costs €2,05pp (sept 2026).

Super clean, comfortable and very good location.
May be not suitable for elderly or disabled people as it is quite steep walk from road to property. But no problem at all for young adults, families or kids.

Very clean and you had all you needed included. Very nice view from the balcony. The check-in and check-out instructions were very clear. The staff was nice and the property is a real gem.
The location was very hard to reach. There are some buses driving by I think but otherwise you have 2 choices: taking an Uber or walking 30 min from the city centre till the apartment on a very very steep road = you sweat a lot. The pool looked absolutely amazing and we were told that it wouldn’t be accessible after 9 pm but somehow there were still people going to the pool after that time and making some noice. It was also quite expensive, coming from a Swiss.
