Good location, good sized apartment for Italy, all the facilities were in good condition, parking was easy, host communicated well

The location is wonderful! Very close to the main attractions.
There is no free parking, as stated on the property’s profile. Parking is on the street, only a few spots, and only if a guest happens to be lucky enough to find a spot. We didn’t..: We were driving around the neighborhood in the evening with the children in the car for around 20min to find a spot. In the end, we ended up parking in the paid garage for 21eur.
We also didn’t appreciate the communication style, which felt too pushy regarding the payment, the request to remove shoes, the reminders to clean after ourselves, and the no-smoking rule. We fully agree with all these house rules — we don’t smoke and we also remove our shoes at home — but the way they were communicated felt unnecessarily insistent. These are understandable and reasonable rules, yet since they are already clearly stated in the accommodation description and on the signs throughout the house, there’s no need to repeatedly remind guests about them via WhatsApp.
Also, the offered breaksfast is too poor: only crackers, coffee, and juice.
