It was a clean and spacious apartment with a fantastic kitchen. Dishwasher, freezer, 4 gas stoves and variety of kitchen utensils. If you cook often, this place is highly recommended. At first the sink had a clogging issue but the owner was very quick to solve the problem. The bed was comfortable, the living room was very cozy, and the shower room was nice as well. The wifi, shower, and washing machines all worked well. Good lighting. The owner was nice and the communication was so clear and timely. The location was near the metro station and there were two supermarkets nearby. Nice quiet area and lovely to walk around too. We hard a great stay, and it's highly recommended, especially if you don’t mind steep stairs - which is inevitable anywhere in Amsterdam.
Stairs. I was warned beforehand, and it was not my first time facing steep stairs in Amsterdam. Still, the width of each stair was very narrow, and even though it was not too steep, I was scared of losing my step while bringing up/down suitcases. With 2 people cooperating it was feasible, but I was mentally stressed a little bit. The house rule was all reasonable but there were so many of them and it was a little hard to check. Otherwise, it was such a great stay.
