The location in a former monastery within the Old City walls was a unique experience. We also enjoyed the bowl of fresh plums left for us in the refrigerator, and the nice little outdoor patio where I was able to enjoy my tea and visit with other guests. There was excellent communication with the property managers who answered my many questions in a very timely manner.
Nothing could be done to change this, but there were several difficult stairs in which to lug our suitcases, but the managers contacted someone to meet us at our taxi to cart our luggage up the 80 steps to our room (for a fee) upon our arrival. They also contacted someone at our request upon our departure.
