This was such a special place to stay in Caldas de Reis while doing the Camino.
The lovely gentleman who welcomed us (I believe he may be the owner) kindly came to pick us up from Caldas when we arrived on foot, as the property is about a 30-minute walk away. This was such a thoughtful gesture, and we really appreciated it after a day of walking.
It is a beautiful old stone house with a river just behind the property. We had a refreshing swim in the river in the evening, which was absolutely amazing and such a memorable part of our stay.
The whole house is very charming, peaceful and full of character. We only stayed for one night, but we found it a lovely place to rest and would happily stay again.
A very special little place and a wonderful stop during the Camino.

El entorno es precioso y la posición de la casa encima del río en frente de la cascada es increíble.
La escalera es muy estrecha, pero acompaña al estilo de la casa , por lo que no hay nada que me disguste de la casa

The situation was absolutely magical set on top of a beautiful river. The scenery and surroundings were unique and a beautiful place to experience on our Camino. The host offered us a lift from the town and even carried my rucksack down to the property from the car park area. The kitchen was well provided with equipment and we enjoyed making and eating our evening meal and breakfast in such amazing surroundings. Would have liked to stay longer.
A little chilly and would have liked to be told we could set a fire in the fireplace if there had been wood provided and told that the chimney was safe to use. There was an issue with the oven that will have been rectified by now, fortunately we only needed to use the hob.

El sitio muy tranquilo y me gusto mucho dormir con el ruido del agua(me relajaba) posiblemente repetiria porque estuvimos agusto.
Aunque había algunos contras se estaba genial, vistas al rio y la entrada como se ve en la foto. Paseo a caldas muy bueno y tranquilo y no se tarda mucho.
No estaba muy limpio y como está rodeado de agua hay mucha humedad en la casa, el coche lo tienes que dejar un poco lejos de la casa(bajas una cuesta para ir a la casa) poco sitio para aparcar y si vas cargad@ con maletas de viaje.... resulta incomodo, hay una parte de una terraciga al lado del rio que esta un poco dejado
