The space
Our home is located in the historic district of Toledo known as the Old West End. Our home is also centrally located from The Huntington Center, The Seagate Center, Toledo Museum of Art, Toledo Mudhens Stadium, Toledo Walleye, Toledo Hospital, The University of Toledo, The Toledo Zoo, and The Docks at International Park on the Maumee River, for a fantastic selection of restaurants! Awaken to the view of a beautifully landscaped park filled with the aroma of flowers and a delightful gazebo! This park and gazebo are a premier location for outdoor weddings and we are located right next door! Our neighborhood is filled with homeowners who take pride in preserving and maintaining the historic nature of the homes! Take a walk and browse some of the unique homes located in our neighborhood! Carriage houses, maids quarters, butlers' pantries, milk delivery doors, original hardwood floors, and 6" baseboards, are a few of the features found in homes in the area! Come and have a unique experience of a home built in 1910! They certainly don't build homes like this anymore! As always, purchasing from our local shops help support small businesses!! Safe travels!

All floors and fabric furniture are steam cleaned between each visit. All surfaces including door knobs, light switches, and remote controls are wiped down and cleaned as well. Bedroom #1-Queen size bed. Bedroom #2-Queen size bed. Street parking. Fire pit available for use. No parties.

My family and I were on a Midwest road trip and Toledo was our halfway point. We chose this home because of its location to the highway and because we needed to do laundry for the last half of our trip and the amenities listed a washer and dryer. Upon arrival, my husband and I looked everywhere because we needed to do a couple loads before heading out the next morning. I tried contacting Casaundra, as she mentioned living on the first floor and to reach out if we needed help, to no reply for hours. In the meantime, my husband found a washer and dryer in the basement that had towels and a blanket in it. Thinking it would be helpful to her (and so that we could begin our laundry), and the fact that there were no personal items in the laundry to lead us to believe that they were not for the listed unit, we switched it over to the dryer and started our load (which, by the way, also needed quarters that we were unaware of). The owner was not happy when she responded to us. After using many quarters and the dryer ultimately not drying our clothes, we brought our things to a laundromat which was pretty inconvenient. We definitely would have chosen a different place to stay had we known that her listing was not true or reliable regarding the availability of a washer and dryer.
The kitchen was nice and the beds were comfy. We felt safe overall, but it was extremely hot in all areas except the bedrooms where there were 2 window units.

Massive space for the money. Kitchen was dine in and there is a dining... full 2nd flr apartment. Of course, old frame house so a bit rough around the edges but was comfortable and w great access. Easy street parking. Wakable neighborhood.

The place is very clean and cozy. We love the nice decorations and got a lot of good ideas for my own house. The host is very responsive whenever we have any questions.
