The staff were super helpful. Special mention to the owner, Shaun. Tejo night was great. All the adventure activities organised through the hostel are with companies Shaun trusts, with no additional markup. There is an activities board so you can find other people who want to do the same things as you. The showers are phenomenal.

Staff had heaps of helpful information for our stay in San Gil as well as onward travel. You could book tours with them without a markup which was great! We were also able to check in early and really enjoyed the nice hot showers!
Our bed was quite hard and the room got pretty stuffy without aircon but overall wasn’t an issue for us.

Really friendly hostel vibe which encourages socialising whilst providing information on what activities to do in San Gil. Staff are great, everything was clean, Tejo Tuesday's shouldn't be missed. Good stuff all round

Staff are very friendly. They even allow me to use their facilities once I check out.
1. Their windows have only shutters. It is very noisy at night especially people are still chatting outside in the middle of the night. I could not even fall asleep one night because of the noise coming from outside. Apparently there is no quiet hours here and the staff would not stop people from chatting.
2. The kitchen is okay, but the flame does not go up very well and it takes forever to boil your water.
