AC was exceptional
We was in cabin 1 which was next to a very loud generator that came on every 10 seconds for about 10 seconds so really struggled to sleep with this. They also had construction very early morning (however we did see a sign with a warning) but the generator noise was 24/7 which was an issue. Its fine if you can sleep with earplugs but if you cant then its a problem. If its a generator for hot water then maybe switch it off during the night?
Also there was no safe in the room it was behind the desk at reception.

What did you like?
The location is unbeatable -- just a short walk to Panagsama Beach and all the main activities in Moalboal. The staff are genuinely friendly and helpful, especially the kuya who made our stay more enjoyable. Beds and linens were clean, wifi was reliable, and they can connect you with local activity providers which is very convenient.
The aircon operates on a schedule, which is not ideal if you need it outside those hours. There is only one shared CR and shower for the entire hostel which can accommodate 20+ guests -- we were lucky it was off-peak during our stay, but this could be a real issue during busy weekends or holidays.

They turn off the AC at 8 AM every day 😂 Why? I want to sleep until 11 AM. You can't do that. You have to sleep and wake up like they want. Are we their pets?
