Unique. Setting is idyllic . Hosts were superb.
Be sure to communicate early, since you must be buzzed through a gate.

It is a beautiful and comfortable modern house in a gorgeous location. We had a lovely attic room with a private bathroom. It had a shower as well as a deep bathtub with a skylight overhead. The upstairs lounge for guests was very cosy and had an electric jug for making hot drinks. The downstairs area was shared with the friendly hosts (a charming family with two young children). The large kitchen and dining area were well designed to share with others. The downstairs living room had two story windows with views of forest and mountains. There was a large laundry, drying room that guests were welcome to use and came in handy after a day of wet hiking the Besseggen trail. The outdoor wood-fired, barrel-shaped sauna was absolutely splendid to use after a hike.
The upstairs has some low ceilings so it is easy to bump your head if you don't pay attention. You learn pretty quickly after one mistake.

Genoeg (gratis) parkeerruimte, gratis elektrische auto opladen. Hele aardige mensen.
Heel laag plafond en deurposten in het gastengedeelte. Vaak ons hoofd gestoten. De badkamer is voor de helft zo ontzettend laag dat een middelmatig tot lang persoon eigenlijk niet in het aanwezige bad kan komen en het dakraam kan openen. De andere helft van de badkamer is wel hoog genoeg om bij de wastafel en aparte douche te kunnen. Geen eigen ingang dus om in het gastengedeelte te komen moet je door de woonkamer van de bewoners.
Tijdens de boeking waren deze zaken niet duidelijk.
