An Absolutely Wonderful Stay – Highly Recommended! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
We recently stayed in one of the cabins at Country View Camping with my two children, and I honestly cannot recommend it enough. We had the most wonderful break!
The cabin was beautifully decorated, with unique wallpaper and so many lovely little touches that made it really special. It was incredibly cosy and warm, the beds were exceptionally comfortable, and even the bedding smelled absolutely lovely. The whole cabin was spotlessly clean, and I have to mention the shower – it was genuinely the best shower I have ever had, even better than in many hotels I’ve stayed in!
The toilet facilities in the cabin were also cleaned by the owner every single day, which was lovely to see. There was also plenty of toilet roll provided throughout our stay, which might sound like a small thing, but it’s something so many other places seem to overlook! It’s those little details that make such a difference.
Outside, the cabin had a gorgeous decking area, with the option of having a BBQ if we wanted one. The lighting around the site in the evenings made everything look so beautiful and created a really magical atmosphere.
Paddy, the owner, deserves a special mention. Nothing was ever too much trouble, and if we needed anything, he would go above and beyond to help us. You can genuinely see how much love, time and effort he has put into creating such a beautiful place. It is clear that he has put his heart and soul into making sure everyone feels welcome and enjoys their stay.
There is so much for children to enjoy, with plenty of play areas both outside and inside the clubhouse. The clubhouse is also a fantastic addition to the site, offering breakfast and a great variety of food and drinks, so there’s something to suit everyone. My children absolutely loved playing pool and darts.

We had a wonderful stay here!
The owner is incredibly lovely, approachable, has a big heart, and truly cares about his guests. His main priority is simply making sure everyone has the best possible experience during their stay.
He openly acknowledges the areas he wants to improve, and it’s wonderful to see that all revenue is directly reinvested into upgrading the business.
Nothing was too much trouble; he was always on-site or available on the phone. He kindly offered to cook us dinner when we arrived late, he makes a great bacon sandwich for breakfast, and, due to personal reasons, he even offered to upgrade us from a tent to a cabin at very short notice.
The cabin bed was incredibly comfortable—I slept significantly better here than in a hotel the week before!
For a campsite, it has absolutely everything you need. There is a great clubhouse with a pool table and darts, a dedicated BBQ area, a kids' play area, and a clean shower and toilet block.
It was incredibly convenient for our trip to Longleat.
If you want a campsite run by someone who genuinely cares about his guests, this is the place to go.

The site is located in a rural area with gorgeous views and a very chilled atmosphere.
The tent was spacious and clean and the beds were comfortable. We were provided with lights and power packs which were a real help!
Toilets and showers were clean and close by.
Paddy the owner made sure everything was perfect for us. Nothing was too much trouble. The clubhouse was a real highlight in the evening with free pool, darts and table football.
100% recommend this place and already planning our next visit!

It looked beautiful at night with all the lights and the bouncy castle was great
Just to note. Patrick was away when we stayed here and I'm sure it would've been better if he was there.
We arrived and our tent did not look like the pictures, I was ok with that. There were lots of solar lights chucked on the floor around our tent and then I realised that the bedding hadn't been changed after the last guests. It was very dirty. It did get changed for us. We were then told that there was no breakfast available, I wish we had been told so I could've made sure my kids had breakfast for the morning. I booked this camping site because of the facilities for the kids but we had asked on and off for a few hours for the bouncy castle to be turned on. We were told that the people running the campsite needed to go home for some stuff, that was fine for a few hours but they were gone all day and arrived back at 6pm. They then left again to go to a shop. We had no access to any of the indoor facilities all day and the weather was not great so we ended up having to go out. It kind of defeated the object of why we booked this place. We wanted to be there for a few days and not leave.
