We had a wonderful stay here!
The owner is incredibly lovely, approachable, has a big heart, and truly cares about his guests. His main priority is simply making sure everyone has the best possible experience during their stay.
He openly acknowledges the areas he wants to improve, and it’s wonderful to see that all revenue is directly reinvested into upgrading the business.
Nothing was too much trouble; he was always on-site or available on the phone. He kindly offered to cook us dinner when we arrived late, he makes a great bacon sandwich for breakfast, and, due to personal reasons, he even offered to upgrade us from a tent to a cabin at very short notice.
The cabin bed was incredibly comfortable—I slept significantly better here than in a hotel the week before!
For a campsite, it has absolutely everything you need. There is a great clubhouse with a pool table and darts, a dedicated BBQ area, a kids' play area, and a clean shower and toilet block.
It was incredibly convenient for our trip to Longleat.
If you want a campsite run by someone who genuinely cares about his guests, this is the place to go.

The site is located in a rural area with gorgeous views and a very chilled atmosphere.
The tent was spacious and clean and the beds were comfortable. We were provided with lights and power packs which were a real help!
Toilets and showers were clean and close by.
Paddy the owner made sure everything was perfect for us. Nothing was too much trouble. The clubhouse was a real highlight in the evening with free pool, darts and table football.
100% recommend this place and already planning our next visit!

The cabin we stayed in was lovely and cozy. There was running water, electricity and everything you need for a short stay. The bathroom wasn’t complete but we knew that prior and the communal toilets and shower area was everything you’d expect for staying on a campsite. On arrival Paddy was there to meet us, he was extremely accommodating and made us feel very welcome. Told us all we needed to know and immediately set up the bouncy castle for the kids and told us that the clubhouse was opening shortly. Very family friendly atmosphere. Food on site at reasonable prices, otherwise many takeaways that deliver to the campsite as well. Great play area for the children which they spent a lot of time in.

It looked beautiful at night with all the lights and the bouncy castle was great
Just to note. Patrick was away when we stayed here and I'm sure it would've been better if he was there.
We arrived and our tent did not look like the pictures, I was ok with that. There were lots of solar lights chucked on the floor around our tent and then I realised that the bedding hadn't been changed after the last guests. It was very dirty. It did get changed for us. We were then told that there was no breakfast available, I wish we had been told so I could've made sure my kids had breakfast for the morning. I booked this camping site because of the facilities for the kids but we had asked on and off for a few hours for the bouncy castle to be turned on. We were told that the people running the campsite needed to go home for some stuff, that was fine for a few hours but they were gone all day and arrived back at 6pm. They then left again to go to a shop. We had no access to any of the indoor facilities all day and the weather was not great so we ended up having to go out. It kind of defeated the object of why we booked this place. We wanted to be there for a few days and not leave.
