The apartment is beautifully decorated and appears to have been recently renovated and in a nice central location.
The door handle in one of the two bedrooms was broken and kept coming off. On one occasion, I was actually trapped inside the room and had to ask the other guests to open the door from the outside.
There was also visible dampness on the wall beneath the air-conditioning unit in the smaller bedroom, which caused an unpleasant smell.
In addition, the windows and balcony doors in the living room are quite old and provide very little soundproofing, so the traffic outside can be heard clearly.
Finally, the apartment entrance is located next to the building’s heating-oil filling area, where there is a very strong and unpleasant smell. Unfortunately, the smell stays with you for a while after entering the apartment, until you gradually notice the otherwise pleasant fragrances used inside.
On a more personal note, I also found the pillows extremely uncomfortable, although this may, of course, depend on individual preference.

exceptionally well thought-through and renovated classic athenian apartment. all amenities are top quality and it feels instantly like home.
location is very central in one of the hippest areas of athens, with many cool spots in walking distance.
staff was also very responsive, friendly, and helpful.
