We had a great time in Funchal and our beautiful accommodation really helped that

Very modern well maintained air conditioning with lovely views and a very good pool

Possibly more parasols at pool as it gets the sun there is a large seating area which gives total protection from the sun so it’s just for couples where one wants sun and other wants shade 🥲

Perfect stay!

The apartment was really great. The geographical location was perfect for our stay and it has private parking. Communication with the hosts was easy, and all the information was sent beforehand and very clear. The kitchen utilities were the best we have seen in recent times, and we were very grateful to the host for leaving us enough dishwasher pods. The apartment was perfectly clean, with a lovely, well-maintained pool and communal areas. Funchal city center was easily reachable by public transportation (the bus stop is just meters away from the apartment) or even on foot. Highly recommended — can’t wait to return!

There was occasionally a slight sewage smell coming from the en-suite bathroom
