Excellent location about 15 mins walk to the Brauwiese “beach”. Some smaller lakes only about 30 mins drive. Close to supermarkets. Beautiful view from the first floor apartment which we had (there is another apartment underneath).

Fantastic location and close to some beautiful lakes as well as the local 'beach' ten minutes walk from the apartment on Traunsee lake. Don't miss out on trips to Offensee and Langbathsee lakes, all great to swim in and beautiful walks by the mountains.
Absolutely brilliant hosts who were friendly and very generous with their time and giving us local information, they couldn't have been more helpful. Thank you Isabella and Klaus! The apartment was spotlessly clean and really well equipped, we cooked a lot and there was plenty of space to cook and eat. All rooms a very good size and a lovely big hall area to keep shoes, swim stuff etc. We stayed in the upstairs apartment and the view was incredible from all rooms and especially the balcony that runs alongside both bedrooms and the sitting room.
The pool was perfect and the gardens beautifully maintained. We had our own private patio area with furniture and umbrella right next to the pool- fantastic. Also spotlessly clean. Was such a bonus as was very hot during our stay. Incredible to have mountain views when going for a swim in your pool! Also a massive bonus to be able to use of a garage for our hire car, and electric gates into the property too.
Had a great meal just down the road at Share! restaurant- also to be recommended- great food, very friendly staff, reasonable prices.
Also don't miss out on trips into Gmunden- a lovely town and we did a cable car trip and walk at the top of Grunberg mountain, plus a gorgeous boat trip around Traunsee lake.
We absolutely loved our stay here and would highly recommend. Perfect for a family. We hope to be back!
Shower could perhaps have been a bit more powerful? But only a tiny thing and wasn't a problem.
