Beautiful, modern apartment with stunning views
We had a fantastic stay at Apartment Alpenrose in Saas Fee. The apartment is tastefully and very modern appointed, with a real sense of quality and attention to detail. The location is excellent, right at the edge of the village, which gives you peace and quiet while still being close enough to everything. What really stood out was the space and setting. There are no houses built too close around, which is quite rare in Saas Fee, and it gives a very open and relaxed feeling. The apartment is sunny and features two large balconies with absolutely stunning views of the mountains. A perfect spot to unwind after a day outside.
A few small points for improvement: a toaster and fondue equipment would be great additions, especially in Switzerland where you naturally expect it. Also, the ski room is located in the basement rather than on ground level, which is a bit less convenient when coming back with

Die Lage ist nicht zu übertreffen - vom ersten bis zum letzten Sonnenstrahl scheint die Sonne in die Wohnung.
Wir hätten etwas mehr Sauberkeit geschätzt.

-mühsame Kommunikation (und nur in Englisch), ich musste die Saastalkarte für meine Frau selber bei Saas Fee Tourismus anfordern, weil der Vermieter telefonisch nicht erreichbar war und nicht auf meine Mail reagierte.
-Die Wohnung ist extrem ringhörig (wir hörten jeden Schritt von oben)
-Die Küche ist sehr spartanisch eingerichtet und nicht zum selber kochen geeignet (es hat z.B. nicht einmal ein Abtropfsieb für Pasta)
-Schmutzige Bettwäsche (mit Blut verkrustet), schmutzige Küchenschränke
-schlechte Lage, weg von Bahnen und ÖV
