The location was perfect for me, right in the middle of town, public transport, pedestrian areas, places to eat, a very convenient grocery shop open till midnight... The layout of the studio is great, it has pretty much everything you need. The kitchen is totally functional and I cooked for myself a lot during my stay.
The front door to the building is not always easy to open. You have to lift the door a bit and then the key would turn. I knew about this from another review so I didn't give up when I first tried to open it. The door always scrapes the stone floor when it opens inwards. One time I spent about 5 minutes trying to get in and felt quite desperate. There is an issue with recycling. There is no collection at the place itself so I guess most people don't bother to sort their rubbish and just throw everything into the bin. There are indeed, as suggested by the host, containers for tin, glass, cardboard and so on on the Frauerplan - the square next to the place, but not for plastic, which is the main offender in my view. Shame.

Bestmögliche Lage, gute Kommunikation mit dem Gastgeber, großes Zimmer.
Der in Aussicht gestellte Wasserkocher war nicht da: Die Kaffeemaschine ist kein guter Ersatz dafür; die Flaschen mit Seife und Spülmittel waren so gut wie leer.
