Excellent Stay! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ We had a wonderful stay at this hotel. The location was very convenient, with easy access to the mall through the hotel’s back gate. It is also conveniently located about 15–30 minutes from the border gate. The hotel was very clean, and our room was kept spotless throughout our stay. The linen was changed daily, and fresh towels and toiletries were replenished regularly. There was also enough drinking water provided in the room. The staff were very welcoming, friendly, and helpful, and the service was excellent. We also opted for breakfast, and everything was good. Overall, we had a comfortable and enjoyable stay. The cleanliness, friendly staff, convenient location, and good service made our experience worthwhile. I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a clean, comfortable place to stay with easy access to shopping facilities and the border gate.

Although we had a pleasant stay overall, there were a few things that disappointed us. Firstly, the payment amount was a concern. According to the amount charged through Booking.com, we expected to pay approximately R5,607 which in their currency is P4673.40 However, upon arrival, we were asked to pay R6,181 which was an unexpected difference of approximately R574.97 that we had not budgeted for. According to my understanding the R6,181 that i paid was supposed to be equal to P5152. When we asked the receptionist for an explanation, we were advised to contact our bank. I found this response unhelpful and unprofessional, as we were simply seeking clarity on the difference in the amount charged. We have used our bank cards for payments in various places and have generally found the currency conversions to be consistent with our calculations. I would appreciate a clear breakdown of the charges and exchange rate applied to understand how the final amount was calculated. Secondly, during breakfast, we requested sauces but were told that none were available. However, on two separate days, we noticed other guests being served sauces. This was disappointing, as we were given the impression that they were not available when we asked. I would appreciate more consistency in how guests are served. Lastly, I would suggest that the hotel consider installing shaded parking spaces to protect guests’ vehicles from the sun throughout the day. This would be a valuable improvement and would make the parking facilities more comfortable and convenient for guests. Despite these concerns, the hotel was clean, the staff were generally welcoming, and we enjoyed many aspects of our stay. I hope management will look into these matters and consider the suggestions for improvement.

I did not like being charged an extra R400 plus for our reservation since the total price was confirmed on Booking.com. and no manager was there to assist at the reception to resolve the problem.
