Two-bedroom apartment with a small kitchen/living room that was ideal for my wife and I. Centrally located on the island, but a bit difficult to find. Beds were comfortable, and all information was conveyed to me via email or text prior to our arrival. The host left us some small cakes. Dinner is available, however, the suggestion would be to go early (we went at 18:30 and almost didn't get seated as there were no reservations) to get seated or find a restaurant that accepts reservations and make them prior to arriving on the island. The abbey is no longer being used, and is just a historical relic from hundreds of years ago that is overrun with tourists. All of the associated shops on the island cater to the tourists, with no local flair, cafes, or restaurants that cater to the local folks. The views at night of the tide coming in was simply fascinating to watch, and we caught the International Space Station overhead as well.

Fair warning, getting to this apartment requires a bus ride followed by MANY stairs and dealing with a plethora of tourists while dragging our suitcases behind us. While our host suggested a day pack, we did not heed her and ended up carrying our suitcases up hundreds of stairs to reach our apartment. Plan to only bring a day pack, and whatever breakfast that you want as there is nothing available in the mornings on the island (short of coffee).

No breakfast. View was spectacular.. not a location to go to under the rain in winter and if you have any impairment or have suitcases to carry up 100 plus steps
