The property was well equipped, ample hot water for the four of us to shower, lovely crockery in the kitchen and easy to visit Padley Gorge, Bakewell, Eyam, Chatsworth. Beautiful countryside in Derbyshire.
The kitchen was on the top floor and extremely hot, a couple of fans would have been much appreciated. There was a mouldy smell in the first bedroom downstairs (someone else had also written this in the guest book previously). As the property is on a main road it was extremely noisy as lots of lorries and large vehicles seemed to constantly trundle past. This might not be as much of a problem in the winter when windows would be shut and you may not sit outside.

Great property, great location, very friendly and helpful hosts! Social spaces were fantastic, plenty of books and games provided for group holidays. Enjoyed the outside patio and the BBQ!
Very minor issue in the downstairs bathroom but this was brought to our attention as a possible problem by the hosts before we’d even arrived, it barely impacted our stay anyway!
