It was spotless and comfortable and I love the way the host has kept a lot of the original features. It’s a great place if you have a dog like mine who likes to wander around the enclosed garden. It’s within easy reach of lot of very interesting places to visit. I highly recommend it.
The only drawback which the owner can’t do anything about is the parking which can be a bit hit and miss. However there is always somewhere near to park.

Spotlessly clean and very comfortable.
The garden was very untidy and unkempt. It was stinking hot when we were there so wanted to be outside (conservatory was obviously too hot to sit I ) but it just wasn’t pleasant. And although the pub was great for a curry - no pub garden. And nowhere else in the village to go.

Good sized garden (mostly secure for dogs)
The cottage is tired and in need of new furniture; only really one comfortable chair downstairs, table was on the wonk.
The garden was significantly overgrown.
The conservatory made our visit very uncomfortable due to the heat.
The security of the house needs improving, the conservatory would be easy to break into and the back door doesn't shut properly.
