The apartment is on the second floor of a building in Koukaki. The apartment was spacious and very well decorated and it had everything we needed. I appreciated that the neighborhood had lovely bars, cafes and restaurants and I enjoyed being able to stroll around and find cute boutique shops too. Koukaki is not as touristic as Plaka or Monastiraki and certainly not as busy as Psiri, for me it had an authentic feel of an Athenian neighborhood and still close walking distance to the touristic spots. I appreciated the coffee pods and nespresso machine for a quick cup in the morning and the AC worked like a charm. I also appreciated that the owners accommodated my request for a second set of keys as there were two of us in the apartment.
The bathroom door needs some TLC, it was very noisy and struggled to close which meant someone was woken up during the night. The shower handle kept on falling off. There was construction right in front of the building that started at 7am. As I am an early riser it was an opportunity to make the most of the day. But if you would want to sleep longer it would be a struggle.

Prachtig en centraal gelegen locatie op loopafstand van de Akropolis. Veilige omgeving. We waren met 6 mensen en er was voldoende slaapgelegenheid. Het was schoon en Appartement is van alle gemakken voorzien.
De vindplaats van de sleutelbox was niet duidelijk omdat er heel veel sleutelboxen waren, gelukkig was dit snel opgelost na een telefoontje. Verder was de slaapbank erg hard. Een topmatras was wel fijn geweest.
