Excellent cottage - really convenient location just 15 mins from Buxton and Bakewell. Ideal for exploring the area.
Parking was limited - we had two cars and could fit them in the designated parking but it was kerbside, passengers need to get out before you park so you can fit snuggly. BUT it wasn't a massive issue tbh , just worth noting.

The cottage is charming, very pretty and comfy. The location is delightful, river just across the road, splendid pub 5 minutes walk away under a towering viaduct carrying the Monsal Trail above - spectacular. Host helpful and friendly. Would like to go again.
Fairly fast road for a country village but not really a problem.

Authentic and quirky; great location to Monsal trail, Litton Mill and Buxton etc . High spec inside ; very clean and comfortable ; sound of running water from river Wye very calming
Owners need to investigate whether the sink in bathroom might be blocked as water ran away very slowly and sink filled up quickly .
On a busy road and even though it didn’t impede our enjoyment or sleep, we had to constantly consider safety of our Labrador ; also consideration obviously if guests have young children

The cottage was cosy and the log burner was beautiful. It was however extremely dusty, there were lots of ornaments and fake flowers that were caked in it. We pulled the portable gas fire out and there was thick dog hair behind.
