Yewfield Vegetarian Guest house

Located in one of the most stunning regions in the UK. Close to gorgeous lakes and villages. The rooms are comfortable. The staff are friendly and helpful. The food is fantastic, the produce used is of excellent quality. So rare to have such variety of delicious vegetarian meals that are enjoyable and not just thrown on a menu as an afterthought. You can tell that every detail of the hotel and experience has had so much care, attention to detail, and thoughtfulness put into it. There is definitely a passionate and dedicated team here. We will certainly be back and will highly recommend a stay.

No complaints at all. Wifi worked intermittently and we didn’t have strong cellular service (enough to send texts to check in on family but not enough to load webpages or stream), so just enjoyed each others company and reading our books. Was nice to have a break from technology.

Probably it bit far out of Ambleside

Beautiful rural location but still convenient for exploring local towns/villages. Loved being able to walk to Tarn Hows from the guest house. Food was exceptional and the Fri/Sat evening meal was extremely good value too. Staff were very friendly and the room was very comfortable with everything we needed

Would have preferred to have milk in the room with the tea/coffee facilities rather than in a fridge along the corridor
